About

Chris Billiau is an accomplished solo and accompanying jazz guitarist living in Thetford, VT. Chris regularly performs with many local acts and artists including Grace Wallace, Peter Concilio, Jakob Breitbach and the Western Terrestrials. Besides his current work, he has also performed with big bands such as the George Manstan Big Band and String of Pearls in Connecticut as well as The Moonlighters in Vermont.Chris is comfortable playing jazz guitar styles dating back through bebop, swing, and the jazz age.Hailing from the Chicago area, Chris studied guitar under Fareed Haque at Columbia College and jazz composition with Eddie Baker at Roosevelt University. Chris currently studies under Draa Hobbs.
